GRID 2 new trailer + infos Singleplayer

Today came another gameplay trailer for GRID 2.

During the preliminary stages Codemasters annoucened infos regarding the singlerplayer mode in the game.

There will be the ”WSR” (World Series of Racing) as a champiosnship including all classes of racecars (not all cars confirmed yet).

Codemasters is saying that there is story, but really, it’s just a normal career mode racing, you can say it’s similar to the story mode of Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed.

There are also some new cars, but still no racecars:

Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ

Ford Focus ST (that are all new cars that i’ve found in the previews, if you found other cars please write that in the comments)

Codemasters are really reserved reagarding racing cars, the only racing cars/tracks that have been confirmed yet are the Red Bull Ring, Brands Hatch, Indianapolis, Yas Marina and the Dallara DW12 Indycar.

Like i said in the previous article about GRID 2, i’m still waiting for Touring cars, GT and LMP cars to come like in the first GRID.

The graphics are looking pretty good, similar to F1 2012.

But really there are many reasons for a no buy of GRID 2: To many production cars (will wait and see with the racingcars), bad story telling (if you can call it even a story), and why is Codemasters putting the cars and tracks for the pre-order not in the hole game?

But the most crusial reason why you would not pre-order is, because the game doesn’t have a COCKPIT VIEW!!!

That’s disappointing , but ok i think we can get over this.

GRID 2 is coming on the 31st May for PC, PS3, Xbox 360.

Again a new teaser for Codemasters GRID 2. Codemasters is unveiling new infos in the Singlepalyermode on 14th February.

GRID 2 comes on 28th May in the US and on 31st May in Europe for PC, Xbox 360, PS3.

This game will be awesome, i’m still disappointed that there is no cockpit view, but i’m confident. I’m still waiting for Touring cars, GT and LMP cars to come.
